(no subject)

So I just found out that the organic peanut butter I just bought from Whole Foods has palm oil in it. Why is this a bad thing, you might ask? Well, I still remember reading about this earlier this year. Basically, palm oil is threatening the habitat of orangutans, who are already endangered. So it's terrible for the environment. As an activist and an animal lover, I can't in good conscience eat anything with palm oil in it.

Sadly, I already put some of the peanut butter on my sandwich for lunch before I happened to read the label, so I had no choice but to eat it at that point. D= But NEVER again.

Argh, the one time I forget to check the label in the store (or rather didn't think to because I assumed it wouldn't have any weird crap like freaking palm oil in it), and something like this happens. =_=

Now the question is...what do I do with the rest of the peanut butter? I don't like to waste food, but I don't want to give it to someone else and encourage them to use palm oil products. D=
